Trudi Wilson and Jasper
We’re delighted to confirm that Trudi Wilson and Jasper are our headline music act for this years festival.
Trudi Wilson hails from Nelson, New Zealand, where she is a well known, sought after performer and respected teacher.
Trudy has just released her first album and has sung with the Wellington Symphony Orchestra, and supported other well
known New Zealand acts such as Julia Deans, Don McGlashen, Howard Morrison and the late Billy T James.
Along with her mighty seven piece band, Trudi Wilson and Jasper are guaranteed to get a crowd on their feet, with a wide variety of soul, funk, blues and pop!
The amazing Ivan Outram provides raw and tasteful guitar, complimented beautifully by the bands back bone.. Simon Terrill on drums and Jak Karaitiana on bass… along with three newcomers, they are now bigger and better than before. The very talented Simon Williams on sax has added his own creative spin on things, as well as the dynamic Dai Minimizawa on additional keys, and Jess Leov on backing vocals.. they are a force to be reckoned with!!
