Reflecting on 2008
Thousands of happy festival goers enjoyed a novel new event on the NZ wine and food calendar. NZ Blackcurrant industry Chairman and pioneering Upper Moutere Blackcurrant farmers told the crowd it will become an annual event and praised all those who took part but especially Event Director and Blackcurrant farmer, Jenny Leith “who’s vision and passion made it happen, along with Event Manager, Michelle MacNeil who although wonderfully pregnant did an amazing job of assisting Jenny.”
