Festival Day
What a fantastic clear blue day has awoken!! The Moutere Hills Community Centre is looking great and the Domain is a blaze of colour thanks to the great team of people who turned out yesterday for the community working bee. Thanks too to all the blackcurrant growers who have made the time at the tail end of their busy season to put in hours helping us get ready for the day. In anticipation – thanks too to the hard working team fronting up early today to help stallholders and put in the finishing touches.
If you are reading this on 3 February – this is my personal invitation to you to come along and join us to make this a really fun day for us all. Don’t forget to support the great selection of stalls – 93 in all. There are more than 25 food stalls, wine, beer and masses of art and craft. Make sure you plan to have your evening meal at the festival. This is no ordinary market!
The live music will start early to help the festival staff while setting up. The bike race heads off up Kelling Road promptly at 3pm and we open the Festival gates to you all at 4pm. We look forward to welcoming you to our valley and sharing the evening with you.
