Cancer Society Sun Umbrellas
Just one not so good outcome . . . . . unfortunately 2 of the Cancer Society sun umbrellas were removed from the festival site during or following the festival. These umbrellas are lent out by the Cancer Society to help Nelsonians enjoy outdoor activities like the Sarau Festival without being in the direct sun. We were saddened to be unable to return the full 12 for them to lend to others in the festivals remaining this summer. We have used Festival funds ($278.00) to order 2 replacements to be made.
If you see these distinctive navy and orange umbrellas (clearly marked as Sunsmart) please encourage their return to the Hospice in Manuka Street or phone Jenny at 5432715 to have them collected. No questions asked . . . .
