BARKER’S COOKING COMPETITION HOTTING UP!

Interest is hotting up in the Barkers of Geraldine Cooking Competitions! Bring along your Blackcurrant cakes, muffins, desserts, juices, wines, jams, sauces and preserves to Sarau Festival.  Special category for Children’s entries sponsored by Food  Management (NZ) Ltd.  No need to register, no entry cost and multiple entries are welcome!  On arrival, deliver your entries to the SBS marquee – they must be in by 4.45pm for judging. This year’s judges are Chef Craig Doty, former Swiss baker: Josef Hodel and Dr. Heather Spence from Food Management.

It is appreciated if you submit your recipe along with your entry, as this enables the judges to be sure of your ingredients and method. Please do not put your name on the recipe as judging is anonymous. Please don’t forget that presentation is important!
