Since 2008, Sarau Festival has become an iconic annual event that celebrates all the Moutere region has to offer. The eighth festival, Sunday, 1st February, 2015 (from 3pm) at Moutere Hills Community Centre in Upper Moutere Village is set to be another wonderful family oriented afternoon and evening of fun. Entry remains just $5 per adult, children FREE. Gates open 3pm.

We invite you to a celebration of the diversity and quality of produce from the Moutere region with live music from three bands and colourful entertainment throughout.

Make a note in your diaries, and stay up-to-date with news and details on our website.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

It costs a lot to put on the festival: licences, permits, ground hire, electricity, traffic management, musicians and bands to name just a few of our expenses.

No one is employed by the festival, all the hard work to organise, promote, set-up and operate is done by local volunteers – people like you!
When all the bills are paid, what remains is held by the Sarau Trust. The trust is a non-profit entity that exists to support local community initiatives. To learn more check out the trust page here.
