Sarau Festival

You can partake in a 2 hour stone carving workshop at Sarau Festival commencing at 4pm, cost $15 per person.  To secure a place please phone Tutor Sharyn Tasker on 03 5433880 by Thursday 27th January. 
Sharyn is an experienced artist and stone carver and an example of her outstanding work can be seen at Country Kids Childcare Centre in Upper Moutere where one of her carvings stands proudly in the new gardens.
Each participant will be given a block of Oamaru Stone to work with and Sharyn will be on hand to guide you through the early stages of the art form. When you arrive at the festival watch out for the yellow flags as these will guide you to Sharyn’s workshop.
